Overview
Climate Positive Infrastructure
Tranquil IT operates a 100% renewable infrastructure strategy. Our circular model repurposes datacenter waste heat to provide heating for our offices and water supply, significantly reducing total energy demand.

CO₂ Emissions Prevented
Intelligent Resource Management
Our sites are engineered to minimize waste by treating energy byproducts as primary utilities.
Heat Recovery
We don't waste energy on HVAC. Instead, our datacenters supply heating for our office spaces and domestic water supply.
Hybrid Renewables
All sites are powered by a mix of direct Solar and Wind generation, backed by high-capacity battery storage banks.
12v LED Efficiency
Every site utilizes high-efficiency LED lighting, with select areas running on dedicated 12v circuits powered directly by solar.
Zero-Waste Hardware Lifecycle
Sustainable IT doesn't end at the rack. We manage the entire lifecycle of hardware to ensure minimal environmental impact.
Battery Recycling NOW AVAILABLE
Public drop-off now available at our Stansted Mountfitchet site.
Stort Mill Partnership
We work with Stort Mill Recycling to ensure 100% reclamation of all metal components.
Repurpose & Donate
Whenever viable, hardware sent for recycling is refurbished for donation to local community projects.
Sustainable Logistics
100% Electric Fleet
Our entire vehicle fleet is fully electric. During the summer months, our engineering fleet is charged almost exclusively by our own onsite solar generation.
Solar-to-Grid Fleet Charging
Sustainable Cloud by Design
Renewable Cloud Compute
Cirrus is our proprietary cloud platform, running exclusively on our climate-positive infrastructure. We prove that enterprise performance and environmental responsibility aren't mutually exclusive.
Zero-Waste Office Policy
All Tranquil IT sites operate comprehensive recycling systems with multiple separated reclamation bins for various materials, ensuring the minimum possible waste is ever sent to landfill.
